Ponder and Wonder – Who are you? What are you?

How could we come to this world without knowledge of the ‘self’? I mean why do you and me have no real working answer to a great question – “Who are you? What are you?”  Wouldn’t it be nice to have all humans and animals taking birth on this earth ( and far off planets in other galaxies, who knows) to learn all wisdom of the universe beforehand? Why it was left on us to explore? Have I forgotten something I ought to know? Or do I already possess the greatest wisdom within my own being? Gotcha take a look inside myself… I understand I need to shut off all sense engines to do that.

Surely one who is writing all this is  the one who is real ‘me’. My soul is unknown to me.  I live in a continuous illusion that I am moving my arm, that I am breathing or eating! Just as the plant takes birth from a seed, grows to be a tree, it might be living in an identical illusion that it is doing everything at its own. This false ego, sense of ownership, feeling of I… this is the illusion. I feel like I am behind a super-duper firewall! I am wondering ‘how am I functioning?’  Everything about the biological machine I own is amazing. I can sum up all of the changes, transformations and observations as conscious and unconscious.  ( that’s little I know) Great! Real ‘me’ is beyond my reach right now. The central processing unit of this computer is unknown.

More than central processing unit of this great computer, its of greater importance to learn about the current. Where is the current coming from? I will restrain from an in depth research into this central processing unit or brain. Put simply, it can be stated like this. You are a computer. Your brain is your central processing unit. Without current, you or me as a computer is  just a dead-body. So a computer regularly receives current from some external source. Does that mean that my body is also receiving this life energy from something? What? How could it be? I place consciousness in a very special category of energy. So I am sure my body itself is not completely independent of it. I do have an external source supplying me a regular package now and then. So, all of us must have the same powerhouse supplying us the life energy.  May be this is the cosmic energy which we receive unknowingly when we are fast asleep or praying whole heatedly by any name of God. Maybe this is the energy received in a controlled manner during ‘yog sadhana’ or ‘lucid dreaming’.  I have sufficient reasons to believe that I am receiving energy from outside my body. My reach is not limited by my hands. I am sure I travel to far places where distance has no significance.

I know I am getting older day by day. Perhaps that means that I am draining out of a form of energy that manifests  parts such as bones, organs etc. Out of a CPU, Motherboard and a whole computer the most important? I know it. It is current which is most important for me at least. Because I do have the computer, which is me. I have little idea about this current or life energy. I got to know the source!!

Article was written a year ago for my previous blog called ‘absolute profit’. I deleted that blog after I had posted around 40 articles there ( thanks to a rough time I had ). I found some of those articles on my hard drive today. I have been trying my best to save ‘God Is There’ from a similar fate!
