Things should be a little different. World can be a better place!
Since the day I first understood that I was living in a system called WORLD, i thought of the means to improve this system – means to make the WORLD a better place! Its not very hard to understand that world around us has to be changed to something better! When I was in school, I thought that population and corruption were the biggest problems! I grew a little older and I thought more about it. I kept working on the ideas of a perfect system! What if I was the Prime Minister? How should the country be run that every single citizen breathes an air of freedom that is offered to the top most politicians! Well, laws are not for everyone. Opportunities are not same for everyone! Even social status is a function of power and influence! All such things were central point of my pondering.
So I thought about the ingredients of a perfect world.
First I thought that a perfect world has to be regulated in the perfect manner. I thought that there should be solid political and constitutional structures to safeguard common man’s interests. I believed that a common man should have access to all essential commodities, members of state and national assemblies should be highly educated and talented etc etc… I went on and on.. deliberating on the solution that could make this world a perfect place to live!
But there is some problem….
Sanskrit word for a man is manav – one who has a mind, can think, anylze and process information more efficiently than any other living being we know. ( we know – because I am not really sure if monkeys are not smarter than us to live a life of freedom, have sex when they want, eat what they like, never work for long hours in offices and sleep as much as they want
). Men can manipulate!! I keep coming up with the solutions for a perfect world but I trust minds of the people that they will come up with new ways to create a mess! Its not going to work even if I acquire some ‘siddhis’ and become a superman

System regulation is NOT a good idea! Lets go deeper..
By the time I was in college, I came to believe that people are too smart to be disciplined by a system! They will come up with new ways to bend the rules, manipulate the system and change things to their own advantage ( at the expanse of somebody else). All ideas of ‘system regulation’ are based on CONTROL in one form or other!
What if
What if people live in harmony without being monitored! What if world becomes a perfect place simply because there is no one creating a mess now and then! What if WE understand that we are IN the system, love and care for its well being and live like a family! No amount of regulation can do that. Draconian laws and capital punishment can not help us to achieve that perfection. An inner change is what is needed. As long as our inner space is unblemished by the stains of hatred, anger and jealousy, we can not expect to have a world that we are searching for ( consciously or sub-consciously!) Change yourself, change the world.
The CONDITIONS.. about loving, hating, helping, fighting and ….
But wait, who will decide if ‘anger’ is an undesirable situation in all circumstances! Who will truthfully assert that we shouldn’t hit back when someone punches us hard on the nose! Who will decide that the so-and-so fellow was actually right in doing what s/he was doing! We have no fixed definitions of good and bad things! Even if we agree that driving without a license is a bad thing, we can not deny the fact that a person helping someone in emergency is actually doing a good thing even if breaks a traffic law! You see, good and bad is highly situational! Not all situations are alike and our world is badly affected by this notion of relativity. A conditional world can not be perfect because conditions are too vague! ‘We should be kind to the children if they are not very naughty’ – is a condition. ‘We will be honest if the people around us are not cheating’ – is yet another condition.
As long as these conditions are there, we can not expect to live in the perfect world.
Unconditional World – Let there be no conditions when you give love, help people and do your own thing!
Believe me, there is no other way to create the world that we are earnestly seeking! ( everyone of us.. whether we know it or not) A world that is not limited by conditions, can never sink in the ocean of poverty, misery and hatred. You are your own world! Once we start giving away love, gratitude and respect unconditionally, a whole new world begins to emerge. A world that does not trigger tension… a world that does not evoke painful emotions.. a world that makes you feel at peace all the time… A world that makes you feel at home at all places.. A world that reduces the manifestation gap of your thoughts! Our results are dependent on our actions! Our actions are dependent on our thoughts! When you are setting conditions for everything you do, you will get the same in return! There will be conditions whether your dream will come true. There will be conditions whether your thoughts will be manifested or not! When you are unconditional, everything will turn upside down; world will be illuminated to your own tune.. no matter what the conditions are.. When I think about a world guided by ‘unconditional love’, all philosophies, religions and scriptures appear naive
LOVE ….. because that’s what we want our new world to have in abundance!

Very insightful write up.I feel human nature, his thinking patterns or in short the entire human evolution must be the most complex phenomenon of the entire universe.I am always complaining when it comes to the manupilation or the degradation in the human nature that seems far from ideal.I keep on pondering in my solitude what could be done to make this world a better place free from all the hatred and the prejudices. And I end up devastated in my thoughts considering the fragility of human nature ,concluding no system whatsoever could bring an order to this world.Love seems to infuse a pinch of hope in my dreaded soul.If feel love coupled with compassion, truthfulness and selfless service on our part for the fellow human beings are potent in making world a better place to live.

thanks Arun. This fragility has to go.. and it is due to the conditions that we lay down for our behavior, principles and actions.. great thoughts bro

I think the love has always and will always be there. As humans we just have a predisposition to forget. We forget love is everywhere. We forget to share it freely. We forget to accept it willingly and we forget to use it in our daily encounters with people we know and people we don’t. Blesssings and thanks for the comment, Sherry

Whenever we talk about changing the system, we consider the system as a ‘dead system’. That is why the need of changing it.
… That is the best way as I find…
However, the system is not dead actually. Certainly it lacks life, but is not dead either.
The system has continued to operate for so many years… with its pace.. changing time to time… and will go on changing… This is the life of the system…
Revolutions and rebellion is moving or making the system move against its natural pace… Such sudden changes definitely make it better, but sudden changes never last long.. This is the law of nature… Slower the pace, permanent is the effect..
Change is certain.. we can only try our best to give it a direction in which we want it to change… keep working on that direction without bothering yourself.. Have your life as well..
Cheers!! to the life in us (as we are maanav) that makes us think in our unique way…
