How many times were you left frightened by a bad dream! A dream that made you sweat like hell and next day you felt some nasty vibes all the way to office and back home. Even if you didn’t scream like a goat or woke up completely knocked out, you must have had a terrible feeling about it. Some people stick to these bad dreams as premonitions and few others allow these bad dreams to affect their daily life. Those are just like those bad thoughts that you get now and then. But you are not always taken-over by these thoughts.
You came out if it. It’s over.
My idea is not to supply you with any dream interpretation stuff! No, you will not die the next day if a dream so
No matter how bad the dream was, you always came out of it. Didn’t you? You actually survived that dream that you lived.
Dreams are merely thoughts.
All thoughts that take birth in our mind are just like dreams we have. Dreams are more focused with excellent multimedia broadcast and you are kinda involved personally
That’s what makes people ponder at the possible meaning of their dreams. If its a good news, have fun and dream more! If its not something you want, know that dreams are like past life.. at least .. like the past moment. That’s something that you have already left. You are completely free to dream and live different things now.
You are free to interpret your own dreams.
No matter what the nature of your dream is, you are always free to interpret it. Point is, you came out! YOU CAME OUT! You are being given an input by the mind that you don’t understand. Just that much. If the dream is making some striking similarities with real-stuff going on in your day-to-day life, just make sure that don’t let them take over. My cousin has had some dreams that actually turned real on next day. While its okay to make an attempt to decipher the hidden message in a dream, its no use to panic over them. Dreams are thoughts. You bring out positive thoughts with even stronger colors and vibrations in your mind – bad dreams will be no where in sight
For those who are enjoying the show!
If you are having some more interest in dreams – start exploring them
Enjoy the process if you happen to have some interesting dreams. All that needs to be done is to choose the right ones. Just that much.
You create the dreams. Dreams don’t create you.
If you can dream at will, you can change things! There is not a lot of difference in your dreams and life that you are living now. What would happen when we move out of this system that are living in? We will remember it like it a dream, nothing more. You hold on to this dream and bound yourself or you make peace with it for you want nothing bad to occupy your mind or you deep inside it because this is something you want to live once again.
Dream has nothing to do with future, present or past unless you want to make it so.
Things is, dream is over and life is still going on. How about making these dreams step into your life. That would solve all the problems. I am talking about dreaming at will here. Not that nasty little dream that spoiled your morning. If you woke up during the bad dream, that means you managed to get out of that trap. You have already won.

I do not remember my dreams and even If I do, I pay no heed.
Btw, if you keep your hand on your heart and fall asleep, you are bound to see bad dreams. Why so?
I am sure you have encountered this. You either see ghosts or you see someone dying.

“..if you keep your hand on your heart and fall asleep, you are bound to see bad dreams.”
Exactly TG. I have experienced the same in past. I don’t know the exact reason as why so-and-so happens but I do know that it can be prevented effectively.
Here is what can be done
1. Before you sleep… place your hands on your chest and BREATHE!
2. If you experience some obstruction (any kind) in regular-smooth-relaxed breathing, you are likely to have bad dreams if you sleep like that. If not.. you don’t have this problem.
3. Solution is quite simple. Practice regular breathing before sleep with your hands on your chest
Strike the ghosts & visions-of-death and unpleasant things head on!
Thanks for dropping by. Sweet Dreams

Now, what placing your hands has to do with your mind.
Yes it affects regular breathing process but how does it bring bad dreams/ghosts?

Well, you will have to check it out
Summon bad dreams first.. then kick them away

There’s a chance we’re not free of bad dreams when we wake up. This happens when these dreams show what our unconscious mind wants despite of our consciousnes. According to Freud, when we resist in realize a desire (by ethic or utilitary reasons) we dream of it. It’s a way our mind finds to express itself besides our repressive attempts.

Apologies for replying late.
I firmly believe that dreams can be accepted or rejected. Whether they are caused by an unfulfilled/repressed desire, an emotion or anything else, we can always choose to accept or reject them.

I am researching dreams right now for a school project and your insights helped a lot. Thank you. Question…how do you know so much about dreams. Did you just google this information or are you in a profession or something?
Posted by Anandoham on November 2, 2011 at 11:03 am
Glad that this post was of some help to you Angela. I haven’t googled any of text published above. Its all based on the little spiritual knowledge I have had through a chain of experiences over the last few years. Thanks for dropping by! Let me know how your school project goes.
